The 2026 Randox Grand National Trophy: A Decade of Partnership, A Legacy of Excellence

The Randox Grand National is more than a race – it is a defining test of endurance, precision and courage, watched by millions across the world. As Randox proudly marks ten years as title sponsor, this year’s trophy stands as both a celebration of sporting greatness and a tribute to a decade of partnership with Aintree.
Created in collaboration with luxury jewellery designer Boodles, the 2026 trophy is a striking fusion of science and sport – a design that reflects Randox’s pioneering spirit while honouring the heritage of the world’s greatest steeplechase
A Decade of Distinction
For ten years, Randox has commissioned a new and exclusive trophy design for each Randox Grand National winner, ensuring that every champion lifts a truly one-of-a-kind piece of history. This milestone year carries special significance, symbolising a partnership built on innovation, excellence and shared ambition. In addition to the main trophy, three miniature replicas are presented to the winning Jockey, Trainer and Groom – recognising that excellence, whether in sport or science, is always the result of teamwork, skill and shared commitment.
Symbolism in Design
The trophy is inspired by the twisting double helix structure of DNA – the fundamental blueprint of life, winding together and opening up to form the cup’s striking shape. Its elegant form reflects Randox’s commitment to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge research and innovative testing solutions that improve health outcomes worldwide. At the heart of the design, a molecular network forms the core of the trophy, symbolising the complex biological systems Randox works to protect. Engraved on the surface is a steroid nucleus representing Randox’s expertise in diagnostics and preventative health testing. Flowing beside the nucleus, a fine line sweeps across the surface of the cup, a nod to the Randox Grand National finish line, a representation of a pioneering attitude determination and skill, all of which Randox value in their own research.
There are 10 diamonds on the outside of each large trophy that accent the steroid nucleus, in addition to a small number 10 engraved beside the tenth carbon on the inside of the cup. These details are a subtle representation of the 10 years that Randox have sponsored the race.
Lastly at the base a deep red enamel dot sits smartly upon a surface of malachite, embodying the Randox logo and brand colours to complete the trophy. Together, these elements create a trophy that not only celebrates sporting achievement but also embodies Randox’s unwavering dedication to improving health and saving lives through science.

A Trophy Worthy of Champions
As the field lines up once again at Aintree, this year’s Randox Grand National Trophy stands as a symbol not only of victory, but of partnership, progress and enduring legacy.
On this landmark tenth year, it represents a decade of shared history – and the promise of many more to come.
